When you get right
down to it, the vast majority of art is just an object someone made, or a
performance given. And then people look at that object, or witness the
performance, and react to it. The aura that surrounds art as a nebulous idea
isn't really all that useful when it comes to actually looking at it, reacting
to it, liking or disliking it, or hanging it on your wall. ...
