This is one of my favorite pictures from the
weekend peace march/protest. I'm a little confused, however, because I can't
work out who's making a bigger fool of themselves.
No reasonable person - not even die hard
Marines - really believes this sign. The man is obviously there simply to
get a rise out of people. While I'm sure he supports the war in Iraq and the current administration (all of which are defendable
positions, even if I disagree), his sign is absurd.
Then again, we have this woman who wants to
get into a shouting match with someone who's only goal, obvious in my
opinion, is to make her upset.
For the record, the woman was the only one to
ever raise her voice. The man just calmly waved and explained his opinions
while she shouted that he was a monster.
