I've said before that I don't like pictures of
flowers -- that's too broad, and obviously there are exceptions, but what I
mean is that pictures that are just sort of pretty and yet empty don't do
much for me. Close-ups of flowers are the biggest and easiest offenders to
point out.
That said, it's difficult to spend several
days shooting pictures at a beach and not come back with some pictures of
flowers. So if I veer too much into sappy sunrises and pink skies, let me
know.
This one is close, so I post it at my own
risk. I do think it tries to make a statement about development beside
natural beauty, but I could just be making excuses for a flower picture.
