Exact same idea as the last photo I posted - similar to a picture I saw a long time ago, and it stuck in my head. The trick here was in getting some details in the columns.

Rant for the day -- I hate stupid people.

Anyways .... it was a great weekend, and though the government has off today for MLK Day, I have to go in to work. I gotta get me a government job.

We did Restaurant Week at Spezie on Friday, with a big group of people. And though we had a nice time, I was reminded why I hate restaurant week: mediocre food, mediocre service, and no real savings.

I quit "doing" restaurant week a few years ago after one too many bad meals. And I'm ok with that - it's hard to expect top performance from restaurants when the whole idea is to overrun them with customers who are only there because they don't want to pay full price.

Obviously, that's no excuse for poor service or mediocre food. But at the same time, well ...
