I was on my way to Adams Morgan to shoot pool when I walked by these boots — looking really sad and out of place, obviously destined for the trash. Strange though, two sets of identical boots.

The funky detail-less quality comes from the cell phone: I stripped out the noise, and then brightened up the colors. And it was over-exposed to begin with, giving it that surreal sort of look. .
 

At this point I've got about a dozen photos shot with the cell phone that I sort of like. But now I'm not sure what to do with them - I had wanted to do a small show somewhere, but there's no sense of consistency in the pictures (beyond the method). And while I like them, mostly because  I shot them with my cell phone camera, I'm not sure I like them in and of themselves.

The idea now seems sort of gimmick-y. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?
