First,
thank you for checking out the print sales section. As much as I enjoy
selling my work, my biggest satisfaction comes from realizing someone
connected with an image and wants to keep it with them.
A little about my philosophy of print sales:
I
believe many artists, especially younger and less established, have done
themselves a great disservice in the way they market their work. Frankly,
they price it too high.
Some of this is understandable - artists want to make money, and if they
work through a gallery then the commission coming out of any sale can be
around 50% or more. It's a tough business, and the cost of making the art
itself can be high, deeply cutting into any profit margin.
That said, I've worked to hard to make sure the images I create are
affordable. Frankly, I want to sell them, and that means making them
accessible and at a lower cost. It also means doing the framing myself.
There are
three ways you can purchase a photograph on this site: matted and framed,
just matted, or even simply the photograph. For an image framed to 16x20,
the cost is $125 plus any shipping charges. For a matted image, $100 even.
And if you just want to purchase the photograph, $90. Shipping and handling
is $15.
All photographs are printed on Fuji
Crystal archive paper.

I deal primarily with standard framing
sizes, meaning it's not necessary for you to pay professional framing
prices if you choose not to. One of the most consistent complaints I
hear from people purchasing art is the high cost of framing something.
Often times, framing costs more than the work itself.
There is no automated order system on Team
Wet Dog. Just send me an email and let's talk about what images you
like, and what you're interested in.
